HowdyGo vs Supademo: Which Interactive Demo Tool Is Better in 2026?

Verification note

Pricing and feature details verified August 2026. HowdyGo pricing was checked against its official pricing page (howdygo.com/product/pricing); Supademo pricing against its official pricing page (supademo.com/pricing), both plus each vendor's product pages and documentation. Both vendors change plans often — confirm current terms before you buy.

  • Monthly and annual billing are kept as separate figures and never mixed.
  • HowdyGo does not publish exact annual dollar amounts — only a "Save 20%" toggle. Any HowdyGo annual per-month figure here (roughly $127 for Starter, $319 for Pro) is derived from that 20% discount and is labeled an estimate, not a published price.
  • HowdyGo's Sandbox add-on at roughly $99/month is third-party-reported, not published by HowdyGo. HowdyGo's pricing page confirms the add-on exists but shows no price.
  • Third-party review scores are approximate.
  • SaaS Match Lab has not used either product hands-on. This article does not claim first-hand testing.

Claims are separated into A. confirmed official facts, B. vendor claims, C. third-party evidence, and D. unresolved. Vendor-authored "X vs Y" and "X alternatives" pages — including each company's own comparison pages — are not treated as third-party evidence.

Quick verdict

HowdyGo

Best for HTML + unlimited seats at a flat price

Choose HowdyGo if HTML fidelity is the core requirement, you want unlimited users and editors on every plan with no per-seat math, a flat published monthly price matters, and you do not need a permanent free tier or a deep sales-intelligence layer.

Supademo

Best for a free start, more formats, and AI automation

Choose Supademo if you want a genuine free plan to evaluate, multiple demo formats (screenshot, video, HTML, Sandbox, Figma import), HTML and Sandbox on one mid-tier plan, a broader AI suite with an AI Demo Agent and an MCP server, or documented enterprise admin controls.

There is no universal winner, and neither tool is all-purpose. The decision comes down to three things: whether you need a free plan, whether HTML plus Sandbox on one self-serve plan matters, and whether flat unlimited-seat pricing or broader format and AI automation is the bigger priority.

Explore HowdyGoTry Supademo for free

HowdyGo and Supademo both capture your product with a Chrome extension and turn it into an editable, clickable demo you share by link or embed. Where they diverge is what each is built around: HowdyGo is a lean, HTML-first builder priced flat with unlimited seats; Supademo is a multi-format demo platform with a free plan, an AI automation layer, and HTML plus Sandbox bundled on one mid-tier plan. This comparison works through both — based on each vendor's official pricing pages and documentation, plus third-party review signals — to show where they overlap, where they split, and how to choose. For background on each product on its own, see our full HowdyGo review and our full Supademo review.

Why This Comparison Comes Down to Free Access, Formats, and Seat Math

Most of the practical difference between these two tools is not a single feature one has and the other lacks. It is three structural choices each vendor made differently.

The three divergences that decide it

  • Free access. HowdyGo has no permanent free plan — a 14-day trial only. Supademo has a free plan (5 guided demos, 50 recordings, unlimited views).
  • Format breadth. HowdyGo captures HTML only (plus GIF/MP4 export and a separate CLI recorder). Supademo captures screenshot, video, HTML, Sandbox, and Figma imports.
  • Seat math. HowdyGo charges a flat plan price with unlimited users on every tier. Supademo charges per creator on Scale, then bundles 5 creators on Growth (+$50/mo each after).

Almost everything below is a consequence of one of these three.

The two pricing ladders, side by side

HowdyGo (monthly billing): Starter $159/mo (HTML on this plan, unlimited seats) → Pro $399/mo (adds analytics, CRM integrations, custom domain, offline demos, Sandbox add-on eligibility) → Enterprise custom (SSO/SCIM). Annual billing is a "Save 20%" toggle with no published dollar figure.

Supademo (billed annually): Free $0 → Scale $38/creator/mo (screenshot + video, AI, MCP, branching) → Growth $350/mo for 5 creators, which includes HTML and Sandbox on the same plan → Enterprise custom (SSO/SAML, RBAC, data residency).

So HowdyGo reaches HTML at its entry price of $159/month for the whole team; Supademo reaches HTML one tier above its entry plan, at $350/month annually for five creators — but bundles Sandbox in at that price, and lets you evaluate for free first.

HowdyGo

HowdyGo is a founder-run interactive demo builder — three co-founders, bootstrapped, based in Sydney — built around one idea: capture your product's real HTML and CSS with a Chrome extension, then layer a guided story on top. It prices by plan tier with unlimited users on every plan, not per editor. HTML demos are on every tier including the $159/month Starter plan; Sandbox is a paid add-on on Pro and above; there is no permanent free plan and no screenshot or video-recording format. Its AI helps create and edit demos but stops short of avatars, video generation, or an autonomous agent.

"How to make an interactive product demo with HowdyGo [2026]" — uploaded to youtube.com/@TBruining, the personal YouTube channel of HowdyGo co-founder Tom Bruining, confirmed via YouTube's oEmbed author attribution. A founder-made product walkthrough, not a video on a separate branded "@howdygo" channel. Via YouTube.

Supademo

Supademo captures a product with a Chrome extension, desktop app, or manual upload and produces screenshot demos, 4K screen recordings, guided HTML demos, free-roam Sandbox demos, and imports from Figma. It positions itself across marketing, sales, onboarding, and customer success, leans on an AI layer for editing, auditing, and translating demos, and adds an MCP server plus an optional buyer-facing AI Demo Agent. It has a usable free plan, per-creator pricing on its Scale tier, and HTML plus Sandbox together on its single mid-tier Growth plan.

Pricing

HowdyGo publishes monthly prices for Starter and Pro; its annual option is a "Save 20%" toggle that applies a discount at checkout without displaying a new dollar figure. Supademo publishes both monthly and annual figures for Free, Scale, and Growth. Compare like-for-like — monthly against monthly, or annual against annual — because mixing the two makes the annual-billed side look cheaper than it is at the period you would actually pay.

HowdyGo pricing

Starter

$159/ month (monthly billing)

~$127/ month (derived annual estimate)

HowdyGo's pricing page shows only a 'Save 20%' annual toggle — no exact annual dollar figure. ~$127 is $159 × 0.8, an estimate, not a published price.

  • Unlimited users, editors, and viewers
  • Unlimited HTML demos

Three structural points matter. First, HowdyGo's price is flat — it does not change with headcount, because every plan includes unlimited users. Second, Supademo's Scale plan is screenshot and video only; HTML and Sandbox both sit on Growth. So HowdyGo's $159 entry plan is HTML-capable, while Supademo's $38 entry plan is not — the two entry prices are not like-for-like. Third, Supademo's AI Demo Agent is a separate usage-based add-on (credit packs from $99 to $5,000) on Scale and above (A).

Price Scenarios

Editorial arithmetic on published list prices. Assumptions: USD, list price, before tax, before any negotiated discount. "Creator" / "seat" means a person who builds demos. HowdyGo annual per-month figures are derived from its "Save 20%" toggle and are labeled as estimates.

Entry-level numbers are not like-for-like

  • HowdyGo includes HTML on its entry plan (Starter, $159/mo). Supademo's entry plan — Scale — does not: it is screenshot and video only, so the first three scenarios below put an HTML-capable plan against one that cannot produce an HTML demo.
  • Supademo Growth bundles HTML and Sandbox on one plan. HowdyGo's Sandbox needs the Pro plan plus an add-on (~$99/mo, third-party-reported).
  • The plans in each row also carry different extras — HowdyGo Pro adds demo analytics, CRM and analytics integrations, the JS SDK, offline demos, password protection, a custom domain, and unlimited collections; Supademo Growth adds every capture format plus AI voice cloning, AI data editing, and Route Hub. Compare what each plan includes, not just the headline number.

Supademo

$350/ month

  • Billed annually — Growth; 5 creators, +$50 / creator after
  • $450 / month on monthly billing

Price read

HowdyGo is cheaper on list price, and it puts HTML on the entry plan rather than one tier up.

Sandbox demos, any team size

HowdyGo

  • Billed annually — Growth; $450 / month on monthly billing
  • Sandbox bundled with HTML on one plan

Price read

Supademo is cheaper and simpler — it bundles Sandbox with HTML on Growth, while HowdyGo needs the Pro plan plus an add-on whose price it does not publish.

Downgrading to Free disables branching, dynamic variables, advanced analytics, showcase collections, zoom animations, and custom domains/branding (A, Supademo docs)

Conclusion: Supademo is clearly stronger for "try before buying" — a permanent free plan beats a 14-day trial for evaluation, and it can carry a small real workload. This is not the same as Supademo being universally better: its free plan is capped at five demos and loses several premium features, and neither tool is built to run a production demo program for free. One third-party review also reports that HowdyGo's shared and embedded demo links stop working immediately when a subscription lapses, with no grace period; HowdyGo does not state this on its own pages, so treat it as a single third-party observation to confirm directly (C / D).

HTML Demos

How each one works (A). Both are per-click captures of the page's HTML and CSS, stitched into a guided walkthrough, with captured text and images editable afterward. HowdyGo's docs describe "a fully interactive clone of the HTML/CSS of your website," captured one click at a time ("1 click = 1 step"), compressed and served from a CDN, with typed input and drag-and-drop replayed to the viewer. Supademo's docs describe the same model — pause briefly between clicks so each page's HTML and CSS is captured, producing a "fully editable" clone. Neither is a live backend or a connection to the running product.

Price and ladder position. HowdyGo puts HTML on every plan, unlimited, from $159/month (monthly) — roughly $127/month derived annually. Supademo gates HTML to Growth: $350/month annually, $450/month monthly. On list price HowdyGo is cheaper, and HTML sits at its entry point rather than one tier up.

Editing tooling (A). Supademo documents a broad set of HTML-editing tools — Edit HTML, Find & Replace for text, emails and dates, typewriter / input rules, AI data editing, HTML-based hotspots, and image variables. HowdyGo documents editing of text, images, and charts in the captured UI, annotations, chapters, and zoom/pan, but not advanced branching, a dynamic-variable/logic engine, or a manual blur/redaction tool. Depth and day-to-day ease of each toolset were not hands-on tested (D).

Maintenance. Both are capture-based, so a change to the live product UI means re-capturing the affected steps — a cost the whole HTML-capture category shares. Supademo markets HTML demos that "don't break when your product updates" and need "no ongoing maintenance" (B); HowdyGo's docs do not address the point.

Verdict: HowdyGo reaches HTML sooner on the ladder and for less money, with unlimited seats. Supademo's editing toolset is more extensively documented. Fidelity or output-quality parity is not something SaaS Match Lab tested directly.

Sandbox Demos

HowdyGo (A / C). Sandbox is a paid add-on on Pro and Enterprise only — roughly $99/month per consistent third-party reporting, though HowdyGo does not publish the price. Its product page describes sandboxes as "fully isolated HTML/CSS replicas of your app that stay stable regardless of production changes," where a viewer moves freely between screens. Offline access to a sandbox is documented. Some third-party write-ups describe the sandbox as connecting to a product API; that contradicts HowdyGo's own "isolated HTML/CSS replica" wording, and this article follows the vendor.

Supademo (A). Sandbox demos are on Growth — $350/month annually, $450/month monthly, the same plan as HTML. Supademo's docs describe recording by clicking through the product, after which "Supademo auto-links steps and generates your sandbox"; viewers can "click, type, scroll, and explore freely." It is built from HTML + CSS capture with simulated state, and Supademo notes "Sandbox demos only work for web-based applications."

Both are captured HTML with simulated state and no live backend. On the axis most buyers care about — a free-roam, simulated environment a prospect can poke at — the capability is broadly comparable.

The gap is packaging and price. Supademo bundles Sandbox with HTML on one mid-tier plan at a published price. HowdyGo requires the $399 Pro plan plus an add-on whose price it does not publish, landing near $498/month. For the Sandbox format specifically, Supademo is the stronger published-price value.

HowdyGo's CLI Recorder is easy to misread: it records terminal, CLI, and MCP sessions, not general web apps. For a normal web-app demo, HowdyGo's path is the Chrome extension. Neither product offers a demo wired to a live backend.

AI

HowdyGo — Howdy AI (A / B). Included on every plan (Pro gets "5x usage," Enterprise a custom allowance). It can create and iterate on demos through a chat interface, auto-generate a demo, auto-create sandboxes with automatic screen labeling and linking, write annotations, generate synthetic-voice voiceovers, translate demos into multiple languages, personalize a demo by prospect pain point / industry / tone, and draft landing-page, social, and email copy. HowdyGo states Howdy AI "never shares your data with model providers" (B). Not present: AI avatars or presenter videos, voice cloning, AI text-to-video / auto-generated highlight video, a published MCP integration, or an autonomous buyer-facing demo agent.

Supademo (A). Weighted toward demo operations and automation: Supademo AI / AI text generation, AI Command (a workspace assistant for bulk edits, voiceovers, and translations), AI voiceover and voice cloning (Growth), AI data editing (Growth), AI Audit, an AI Translations Hub, an MCP server with Skills for agent access, and an AI Demo Agent — an autonomous, buyer-facing agent sold as a usage-based add-on on Scale and above.

Framing: HowdyGo's AI is genuine content-generation assistance, included everywhere, and enough for most solo and small-team workflows. Supademo's AI is broader — voice cloning, programmatic data editing, an MCP server, and an agentic buyer-facing layer that HowdyGo does not offer. If AI automation or an agent is on your list, Supademo is ahead.

Analytics

HowdyGo (A). Demo analytics are a Pro+ feature: impressions, engagement, progression, completion, CTA clicks, and per-step data that surfaces drop-off. Lead capture is built in on every plan; lead scoring based on viewing behavior, pushed to a CRM, is part of the Pro integration layer; visitor identification is available via the JS SDK's identify call on Pro. Not documented: A/B testing, account-level visitor de-anonymization.

Supademo (A). Analytics start on Scale: general analytics plus session metrics at an individual level, per-step drop-off, internal-vs-external user segmentation, tracking by lead or account, a lead search, and analytics export. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager integrations are documented.

Conclusion: broadly comparable depth — both cover completion, engagement, per-step drop-off, and leads. The emphasis differs: HowdyGo's is simpler and gated to Pro; Supademo leans on lead- and account-level tracking plus GA/GTM to sit inside a wider measurement stack, and its analytics start one tier lower relative to its own ladder.

CRM and Integrations

HowdyGo (A). Dedicated connectors for HubSpot and Salesforce (lead capture + analytics), Attio, Marketo, Twilio Segment, Google Analytics, Heap, FullStory, Zapier, and a Custom Webhook. The JS SDK covers visitor identification, personalization, modal embeds, and player control. HowdyGo's pricing page gates "CRM & analytics integrations" and the JS SDK to Pro. Not documented: native Slack, Microsoft Teams, Outreach, Gong, Salesloft, or Google Tag Manager, and any MCP integration.

Supademo (A). Documents HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Slack, Zapier, Intercom, Seismic, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Webhooks, plus a REST API, an Embed Events API, and an MCP server. Its HubSpot integration is documented as automatically capturing viewer activity and syncing identified leads. Per-integration plan gating beyond the pricing page's placement of tracking and analytics on Scale is not fully published, and no starting tier is asserted here.

The practical read: Supademo documents the wider connector set — more CRM and messaging integrations, a REST API, an Embed Events API, and MCP. HowdyGo's list is smaller and gated to Pro, but covers the main CRMs and several analytics tools.

Sales and GTM

HowdyGo (A). Lead capture on every plan, lead scoring and CRM push on Pro, visitor identification via the JS SDK, and a Sandbox format suited to live sales calls. It does not have — on its own pages — account-level buyer intelligence, deal intelligence tied to CRM opportunities, buyer/deal rooms, lead routing, or a rep-enablement layer.

Supademo (A). Lead capture with lead- and account-level analytics and tracking links (Scale+), HubSpot lead sync, Seismic, and webhooks. It is not positioned publicly as a CRM or buyer-intelligence platform.

Conclusion: neither is a Storylane- or Navattic-level sales-intelligence platform. Both cover lead capture and CRM sync; neither offers account identification or deal intelligence. If deep buyer and deal intelligence is the priority, see our full Storylane review and our full Navattic review.

Enterprise

HowdyGo (A). SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are Enterprise plan only (SCIM configured on request, 15-minute sync). Custom interactive components and multi-team training are Enterprise; offline demos, password protection, and custom domains are Pro and above. Unresolved (D): role-based access control, audit logs, data residency options, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification (no compliance claim was found anywhere), a documented REST API, a published SLA, and a dedicated CSM beyond "hands-on onboarding."

Supademo (A). SSO and SAML, enterprise workspaces, roles and permissions, and custom data residency are documented on the Enterprise plan. A REST API, an Embed Events API, and an MCP server are documented. Offline demos are documented (starting tier not pinned — D); a custom domain is documented (Supademo's marketing says from Scale; its docs do not state a tier — D).

Conclusion: on documented enterprise controls, Supademo's public docs are the more complete — RBAC, workspaces, data residency, and API/MCP are all spelled out. HowdyGo documents SSO and SCIM but not RBAC, audit logs, or a SOC 2 posture, and it gates SSO to the top tier. Neither has the governance track record of the sales-led incumbents; hard requirements should be confirmed with each vendor directly.

Third-Party Review Signals

SaaS Match Lab has not tested either product. The themes below are recurring signals across third-party review summaries and independent write-ups, not one reviewer's opinion. G2 snapshots generally put HowdyGo around 5.0 / 5 on a small review base (roughly 30) and Supademo around 4.7 / 5 on a larger one (several hundred) — G2 could not be loaded directly, so treat both as approximate and check the current pages. Capterra lists HowdyGo with no user reviews and stale pricing. Vendor-authored "X vs Y" and "X alternatives" pages, including each company's own, were not treated as third-party evidence.

HowdyGo

Pros

  • Flat pricing with unlimited users, editors, and viewers on every plan — no per-seat math
  • HTML/CSS demos on every plan, including the $159/month Starter tier — the lowest published entry price for real HTML fidelity in this pair
  • Fast, no-code Chrome-extension capture; reviewers consistently report a first published demo in under an hour
  • Founder-led support is a recurring point of praise
  • Built-in lead capture on every plan, with lead scoring and CRM push on Pro
  • Published, self-serve pricing for the plans most teams buy

Cons

  • No permanent free plan — a 14-day trial only
  • The Starter-to-Pro jump is 2.5× ($159 to $399/month), and analytics, CRM, custom domain, and Sandbox eligibility all live on Pro
  • Sandbox is a paid add-on (~$99/month, third-party-reported) on top of the Pro price, not a bundled feature
  • Smaller integration catalog — no native Slack, Teams, Outreach, Gong, or Salesloft; no MCP
  • No screenshot or video-recording format; Chrome-only, cannot capture desktop or non-browser apps; one report of weak mobile support
  • Thin enterprise governance evidence — SSO/SCIM are Enterprise-only; RBAC, audit logs, and a SOC 2 posture are not documented
  • Annual pricing is a discount toggle with no published dollar figure

Supademo

Pros

  • Permanent free plan — 5 guided demos, 50 recordings, unlimited views — makes evaluation low-risk
  • Broad input formats — screenshot, 4K screen recording, HTML capture, and Figma import
  • HTML and Sandbox bundled on one mid-tier Growth plan
  • Multiple AI creation and editing tools, plus an MCP server and an optional AI Demo Agent
  • Often described as good value for the feature set; analytics and post-capture editing are recurring positives

Cons

  • HTML demos, Sandbox demos, AI voice cloning, and AI data editing all require the Growth plan
  • Per-creator Scale pricing can add up before the Growth bundle becomes worthwhile
  • Some reviewers report hitting customization limits
  • Occasional recording-related issues mentioned in reviews
  • A steeper learning curve than some rivals for certain workflows

Which Team Fits Which Tool

Solo marketer
Depends on format

Supademo Scale is cheaper for one person — $38 / mo annually — and has a free plan to start, but it is screenshot and video only until Growth.

The other read

HowdyGo Starter is $159 / mo flat, but gives you HTML and unlimited stakeholders from day one.

Small startup (2–10)
Split decision

HowdyGo if HTML matters: its flat $159 / mo covers the whole team with HTML.

Otherwise

Supademo if starting free matters — its free plan and Scale tier are cheaper to begin with, but reach HTML only at Growth ($350 / mo annually).

Product marketer (PMM)
Close call

HowdyGo for HTML on the marketing site at a flat, unlimited-seat price.

Otherwise

Supademo for multi-format capture, Figma import, and AI editing depth.

Customer education
Supademo

Screenshot, video, and HTML in one editor, a free plan for pilots, and AI translation for localized courseware.

Onboarding
Supademo

A free plan to prototype, branching and variables from Scale, and multiple formats for different flows.

Sales / presales
Close call

HowdyGo has a Sandbox for live calls plus lead scoring and CRM push on Pro; Supademo has tracking links, lead / account analytics, and CRM sync from Scale.

Watch out

Neither is a sales-intelligence platform — for buyer or deal intelligence, look at Storylane or Navattic.

Product team
Supademo

MCP server, REST API, Embed Events API, a desktop app, and Figma import.

Enterprise GTM
Close call

Supademo documents RBAC, workspaces, and data residency; HowdyGo documents SSO / SCIM but not RBAC, audit logs, or a SOC 2 posture.

Watch out

Confirm with both — neither matches the sales-led incumbents' governance record.

Account identification, deal intelligence, and buyer rooms are Storylane's or Navattic's territory

Final Decision

Choose HowdyGo if…

  • HTML fidelity is the core requirement and you want it on the entry plan, not one tier up
  • Per-seat or per-creator billing is the problem you are solving — you want one flat price for the whole team
  • A published, self-serve price for the plan you would actually buy matters to your process
  • You do not need a permanent free tier to evaluate
  • Light presales support (lead capture, lead scoring, CRM push, a Sandbox for calls) is enough — you do not need a sales-intelligence layer

Choose Supademo if…

  • You want a genuine free plan to evaluate or to run a small workload
  • You need HTML and Sandbox demos on one mid-tier plan without a separate add-on
  • Multiple capture formats — screenshot, video, HTML, Sandbox, Figma import — are on your list
  • AI automation matters: voice cloning, AI data editing, an MCP server, or a buyer-facing AI Demo Agent
  • Documented enterprise admin (RBAC, multiple workspaces, data residency) or a REST API is a requirement

Close calls, and where to look elsewhere

  • Solo or tiny-team, screenshot-only use — Supademo Scale is cheaper and has a free plan; HowdyGo only makes sense here if you need HTML or unlimited stakeholders now
  • Analytics — comparable depth, different emphasis (HowdyGo's simpler Pro-gated report versus Supademo's lead/account tracking and GA/GTM)
  • Sales tooling — both do lead capture and CRM sync; neither is a buyer-intelligence platform. For account identification, deal intelligence, or buyer rooms, evaluate Storylane or Navattic instead

HowdyGo and Supademo solve the same problem — building interactive product demos — but they are built for different buyers. HowdyGo is the better structural fit when HTML fidelity, unlimited seats, and a flat published price are the priorities: it is the cheapest published route to real HTML demos and removes per-seat math entirely. Supademo is the stronger fit when free access, broader demo formats, HTML plus Sandbox on one plan, and AI automation are the priorities: it lets you start for nothing, captures in five formats, and adds an agentic and programmatic layer HowdyGo does not have. Match the tool to the job, and confirm current prices and plan gating with each vendor before committing. Looking for more options? Sources and Verification

  • Claim types. A — confirmed against an official pricing page or documentation. B — vendor marketing, labeled as such and not verified. C — third-party review evidence. D — unresolved / not confirmable from public sources.
  • HowdyGo pricing (A). howdygo.com/product/pricing, verified August 2026. Monthly: Starter $159, Pro $399, Enterprise custom. The annual toggle is labeled "Save 20%" and displays no dollar amount; the ~$127 and ~$319 per-month figures here are $159 × 0.8 and $399 × 0.8, labeled as derived estimates, not published prices. Every plan includes unlimited users, editors, and viewers. Directory listings of $199 / $499 monthly are stale third-party data — HowdyGo's own page shows $159 / $399. Monthly and annual figures are never mixed.
  • HowdyGo Sandbox (A / C). HowdyGo's pricing page confirms the add-on ("Unlimited sandboxes (Add-on)," Pro and Enterprise only) but publishes no price. The ~$99/month figure is consistent across independent third-party write-ups and is labeled third-party-reported throughout. HowdyGo's Sandbox product page describes sandboxes as "fully isolated HTML/CSS replicas"; where third-party sources describe an API connection, this article follows the vendor's wording.
  • HowdyGo product mechanics (A). Chrome-extension capture ("1 click = 1 step"); a captured HTML/CSS clone, not a live backend; typed input and drag-and-drop replayed; text/images/charts editable after capture; UI changes require re-capture. The CLI Recorder records terminal / CLI / MCP sessions, not general web capture. No screenshot format, no video-recording format, no Figma/image import, and no capture of desktop or non-browser applications. From HowdyGo's product pages and docs.howdygo.com.
  • HowdyGo AI, analytics, integrations, enterprise (A). Howdy AI (chat creation, demo/sandbox generation, annotation writing, synthetic voiceover, translation, personalization, marketing copy) is on every plan; no AI avatars, voice cloning, text-to-video, MCP, or autonomous agent are documented. Demo analytics are Pro+. Integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Marketo, Twilio Segment, Google Analytics, Heap, FullStory, Zapier, Custom Webhook; the JS SDK and "CRM & analytics integrations" are gated to Pro. SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise-only. Unresolved (D): RBAC, audit logs, data residency, SOC 2 / ISO 27001, a documented REST API, a published SLA, a dedicated CSM.
  • Supademo pricing and feature gating (A). supademo.com/pricing. Free $0 (1 creator, 5 guided demos, 50 recordings, unlimited views). Scale $50/creator monthly, $38/creator annually (per-creator, no bundle; screenshot + video). Growth $450 monthly, $350 annually (5 creators, +$50/creator; adds guided HTML demos, Sandbox demos, Route Hub, AI voice cloning, AI data editing). Enterprise custom (10+ creators; SSO/SAML, roles & permissions, multiple workspaces, custom data residency). The AI Demo Agent is a usage-based add-on (credit packs $99–$5,000) on Scale and above. Downgrading to Free disables branching, dynamic variables, advanced analytics, showcase collections, zoom animations, and custom domains/branding.
  • Supademo product mechanics, AI, integrations, enterprise (A). Per-click HTML + CSS capture, fully editable, no live backend; Sandbox built from HTML + CSS capture with simulated state, web-only. Formats: screenshot, 4K screen recording, guided HTML, Sandbox, Figma import; desktop app for capture. AI: Supademo AI, AI Command, AI Audit, AI data editing (Growth), AI voiceover and voice cloning (Growth), AI Translations Hub, MCP server with Skills, AI Demo Agent (add-on). Analytics from Scale. Integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Slack, Zapier, Intercom, Seismic, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Webhooks, REST API, Embed Events API, MCP. Enterprise: SSO/SAML, RBAC, workspaces, data residency. Unresolved (D): the exact starting tier for Supademo's custom domain and offline demos; whether a newer official platform-overview video has replaced the 2024 "Introducing Supademo."
  • Supademo figures are summarized from SaaS Match Lab's own Supademo review and Supademo vs Storylane coverage and were not independently re-verified for this article.
  • Vendor claims (B). HowdyGo — "demo viewers are 1.7x more likely to sign up," "less than 1 hour from signup," Howdy AI "never shares your data with model providers." Supademo — "pixel-perfect HTML/CSS clones," multiple demo formats, demos that "don't break when your product updates" / need "no ongoing maintenance," "#5 fastest-growing" on G2, "150,000+ professionals." Treated as marketing, not verified.
  • Third-party evidence (C). G2 snapshots (HowdyGo around 5.0 / 5 on a small review base of roughly 30; Supademo around 4.7 / 5 on a larger one) could not be loaded directly and are treated as approximate. Capterra lists HowdyGo with no user reviews and stale pricing. Recurring pros and cons are drawn from third-party review summaries and independent write-ups. One third-party report that HowdyGo demo links stop working immediately on cancellation is a single unconfirmed observation. Vendor-authored comparison and "alternatives" pages — including each company's own — were not treated as independent third-party evidence.
  • Official videos. HowdyGo — "How to make an interactive product demo with HowdyGo [2026]" (youtube.com/watch?v=3nxtL0f_pK4). YouTube's oEmbed author attribution resolves the uploader to youtube.com/@TBruining, the personal channel of HowdyGo co-founder Tom Bruining, not a branded "@howdygo" channel; the caption states this. Supademo — "Introducing Supademo: Create Beautiful AI-Powered Interactive Demos" (youtube.com/watch?v=uP8M-RW4Q5A), oEmbed-attributed to the official youtube.com/@supademohq channel. One video per product; no third-party re-uploads; no screenshots were scraped, and no public media kit with clear reuse rights was found for either vendor.
  • Affiliate status. Re-verified August 2026. HowdyGo: no public affiliate, referral, or partner/reseller program was found; HowdyGo's own /compare/ pages are marketing, not a partner program. The HowdyGo links here are plain outbound links (CTAButton), with no rel="sponsored" and no tracking parameters. Supademo: runs a public affiliate program (30% recurring lifetime commission, a $10,000 per-customer cap, free to join); SaaS Match Lab's application is pending, so the Supademo links here are also plain outbound links (CTAButton), not affiliate links, until an approved tracked URL exists. Neither product's placement in this article is influenced by either program. See our affiliate disclosure.
  • SaaS Match Lab has not used HowdyGo or Supademo hands-on; this article does not claim first-hand testing. See our methodology.
